This policy explains what personal data WorldVC collects through worldvc.business and its application subdomains (the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, to our business customers, and to the people who interact with our customers through the Services (for example, callers answered by an AI receptionist).
We use data to provide and operate the Services (including routing and answering calls, sending messages, and generating AI responses), to bill for them, to monitor health and prevent abuse, to support you, and to improve the products. We do not sell personal data.
Some features send content (for example, call audio, chat messages, or text you ask to be generated) to third-party AI model providers to produce responses in real time. We send what the feature needs and configure providers not to use this content to train their general models where the provider offers that control.
We rely on a small set of processors to run the Services: cloud hosting and databases, telephony and SMS carriers, AI model providers, email delivery, and payment processing (including Dodo Payments as merchant of record for international card payments and licensed local payment providers). Each receives only the data needed for its role.
We keep data for as long as the account it belongs to remains active, and for a reasonable period after closure to allow export and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Customers can delete records (for example call recordings or contacts) inside their apps, and can request account deletion by email.
Data is encrypted in transit, credentials and API keys are stored encrypted, and administrative access is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal data we will notify you as required by law.
Subject to the law that applies to you (including applicable United States privacy laws and, where applicable, the GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. If someone else's business holds your data in our apps (for example, you called a business that uses our receptionist), we may refer your request to them as the data controller.
The Services are business tools and are not directed to children.
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced before they take effect. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
